Favorite "kid friendly" campground in Myrtle Beach ?

Looking to take my 12 year old and some friends to Myrtle beach for a basketball tournament in July. Would like to find the best place for kids.

What's your favorite "kid friendly" campground in the area?
  • July? This year? All the oceanfront CGs are great for kids. All have all kinds of stuff for them to do. PirateLand, Myrtle Beach Travel Park, have lazy rivers. Lakewood, Ocean Lakes, All have arcades, minigolf, heated indoor pools, and out door pools. Well there is just a lot to do. Not to mention the beach. And isn't the beach the reason to be there? For us it is.
Apache has pier dances at nightas well

Thing is. This late. You are going to have a really hard time finding a campsite in Myrtle Beach for July. So start calling now. You will have to take what you can get at this late date.

You may be able to find something off the beach, Like at KOA, briarcliff, or the new crypress camping resort
