FDR state park or Pine Mountain RV resort
hello, We stayed at Pine Mountain RV resort over thanksgiving. It was nice but rather lacking of trees and privacy. We went to FDR state park and hiked and walked through some of the camping area...

Take your choice. We pick some state parks and few resorts. You have to decide what is most attractive to you.
I agree. Diff'rent strokes for diff'rent folks.
Personally, we prefer FDR. I don't think there's a prettier state park in GA, and that's saying something *GA has fabulous SPs* We like the woods and trails. We don't care about having a swimming pool or WiFi. We like having a bigger campsite and having a nice campfire. We don't need FHU, just W&E.
RV Resorts have their place too, and only you can decide if you need/prefer those amenities or not.
