Our 5'er is 38" in length and we have been in many state parks in the east and we have never had a problem finding a site that we could fit in. If we were planning to go during a busy holiday weekend, we would make our reservations early OR show up a day early if we couldn't make reservations.
We HAVE had problems getting INTO some federal parks since the roads were narrow and sometimes had low-hanging or close trees. Most of these have been designed before RVs became so popular.
