No! This is borderline paranoia.
Tell that to the minority communities and others who have lived for decades with policies like "Stop and Frisk". Those who have been pulled over for failing to signal a lane change, drifting onto the shoulder for a second, driving without a seatbelt, using a cellphone while driving etc. only to then have their vehicles searched, their IDs validated and only after the all clear let off with a "warning". In those cases it is obvious the intent was not to give a warning, but to use those minor violations as a way to investigate the car and driver. I see no reason a federal mask mandate couldn't be used as another workaround an otherwise warrantless search.
