Amazing how many people believe that wearing a flimsy cloth mask protects YOU from the virus.
Our home made pieces of cloth with strings on them do NOTHING to protect YOU. It's to keep your spittle from landing in someones face when you talk, or sneeze or cough.

This is the whole mask thing, wearing a mask protects others not you so much.
It keeps your spittle and germs from being broadcasted across the room. The mask you wear will not stop you from inhaling the virus, it may stop some, but the main function is to keep infected people from spreading the virus.
