- jimbob2008Explorer IIAll of it. The fun stuff. Day trips to fun stuff. Sorry about being vague. What are your favorites? I have favorites in Arizona and New Mexico, but haven't ventured North west yet.
- donn0128Explorer IIWe got that. How about telling us what part of Oregon your interested. Coast, mountains, desert?
- jimbob2008Explorer IIWe are trying to plan a summer trip of two months. Looking at the west coast and northern route states. Possibly adding western Canada. One week stops.
- RoyFExplorerIf you have not already done so, a good place to look is rvparkreviews.com. You find reviews plus links to a campground's website.
- RWjSIM2003ExplorerWe have a 43ft 5er and get in many places in OR and WA. Can you be more specific on the location you are looking to go? You might get better responses.
- MitchF150Explorer IIIThe State Parks in WA are a little better suited for larger RV's. Most have full hookups, but if you try to go between May-Sept, they get booked really fast! During the off season and during the week is easier to get in if the park is open (most are year round parks).
What I've seen of the National Parks in WA is that they are much older campgrounds and almost always never have hookups and the sites are pretty small.. That might have changed, since it's been many years since I've ventured into a National Park campground??
No experience with private parks..
Good luck! - donn0128Explorer IIWhere? Oregon is a vastly diverse state with vastly different ecosystems and vastly different campground types.
