I think RVing is getting more popular with lots of age groups. For us working stiffs with kids that have to go during the busiest times, it is getting hard to get reservations.
For last Labor Day the campground we went to only takes reservations 45 days in advance of arrival. To get in, I had call in early and start the reservation 2 days before I would arrive. so I had to pay for 2 nights I would not be there. To get waterfront they said that you have to reserve at least an extra week.
As soon as my kids get out of high school in 4 years, It will really open things up for me :)
