When you're in a Florida state park that's empty Sunday night through Thursday night you'll understand the problem with the weekend warriors. And then fulltimers who can't get in for a week or two because two days of every weekend are full just go somewhere else. The state parks lose.
Perhaps the solution is to require 14-day reservation paid in advance, non-refundable. Then everyone's on the same basis.
