Been there a few times. Too far off the beaten path. Long stays means water activities. I like a much greater diversity. Gulf side of Southern Florida offers all we could want. And that includes warm weather- close to the beach- tons of local attractions- and all for in the $1000/month bracket when staying 3 months or more.
