We lived just across the bridge from NYC, but went to Boston for the Fourth. Watch and listen to the Declaration of Independence read from the balcony, visit the Old North Church, walk the Freedom Trail, see Old Ironsides taken into the harbor and turned around, participate in a re-creation of the Boston Tea Party, then relax on the banks of the river to enjoy the Boston Pops and fireworks.
