Fishing Bridge Yellowstone

I know it isn't what you REALLY want, but at West Yellowstone or Gardnier you can be sure of enough space.

Loops A-D are tighter then the rest if I remember correctly. We stayed in D loop and it was very close end to end and to the sides.

In most of the other Yellowstone campgrounds, I would say go for it as they don't adjust for the sites which allow you to let the rear overhang extend beyond the paved site. With hosts permission in Bridge Bay I was allowed to park my 35'FW in a spot designated for 30' trailer but only because the site allowed the trailer to hang over the rear by 6'. so I cleared the road. Had to park my truck next to the trailer and it just cleared the camper door.

However, if I recall correctly, Fishing Bridge has a lot of sites that are basically butt-to-butt which prevents the rear overhang from extending over the rear of the site. This limits most of those sites to actually claimed length.

Yellowstone CG reservations is a sort of gauntlet test. We have been there many times and reservations are always difficult, how many feet,are you sure, even with a truck camper they will cross examine like .....

We have stayed once at Fishing Bridge and it is tighter than the other CG in the park. I believe that reservations are by site. You may be able to compare the park campground map, if there is one, with Bing maps and see which sites are longer and focus in on one that will work for you.

I've seen people have to move their rig there because the length was more than the site could accommodate.

If they say it will hold up to 35' then you can be pretty sure that length would be stretching it to the limit. Was just there I would go for it there will be room for you - I saw plenty of rigs even sticking out into the road. I think my 37 would even fit into one of the 35 ft sites

I was there Sept 14 for 5 nights - people might weigh in here but that does not mean they have been there recently, the weekend we were there it was about 95% full

By the way Verizon phone and data worked great somebody said they have a new tower

I would think that under 35' means that. They could refuse to let you in the space then you are really screwed.
