Just head to Dead horse Ranch. We just got back from there a few weeks ago. We camped in the lower loop which has decent pull thru and back in sites. You are close to Jerome and about 25 minutes south of Sedona. You want the lower elevation. Ask about the paths from the campground to the historic part of Cottonwood - nice short walk.
