If you do not need hookups, take a look at Bonito Campground North of Flagstaff just outside of Sunset Crater National Monument. Easy to visit Wupatki and Walnut Canyon National Monuments from there also.
Dead Horse Point State Park in Cottonwood is nice. There are also a number of other decent RV parks in the Cottonwood and Camp Verde area including a former Thousand Trails Park that participates in a number of discount programs including Passport America.
If you are looking for things to do, consider the Verde Canyon Railroad.
