J&H while decent and clean is a bit odd. It caters to the retired RV'ers with a pot luck dinner on some nights. Great if you fit that crowd. The owners got mad at us for having outside lights on after 9pm. I noticed nobody outside their trailers after 9. Could not even have our dim yellow patio light on. Then she noticed a beer can on our table. She said that they were Christians (so are we) and that maybe we'd do better going to a different RV park for our 'type'. This was about the 5th time we'd been to this park but the 1st time the owners acted this way.
Munds park is quite nice and friendly. The spots up against the forest are much nicer than those further out.
Woody Mountain is forested but no campfires and bath houses are rather dirty. Hosts are very nice. Some spots are small.
Kit Karson has a lot of full time mobile homes and not at well run as Woody Mountain.
KOA spots are tight and campground could use some renovating.
Willams 30 miles to the west has many great choices:
KOA Circle Pines has many large forested spots, clean restrooms, pool.
Grand Canyon Railway has a new RV park. Can use their hotel pool. Very nice.
