- leesanExplorerStayed at Woody Mountain a couple of times.Lots of trees and shade. Not far away from Grand Canyon. Check it out
- noe-placeExplorerWe also stay at the GC Railroad RV park when we're out there from Kentucky. Close to everything as it's a huge place practically in the middle of town.
- mileshuffExplorerJ&H is nice but is better suited for retirees, not family friendly.
Flagstaff KOA, Blackbarts RV and Kit Carson RV are dumps.
Woody Mountain is a nice, forested campground.
Williams, AZ is a perfect place to stay when visiting grand canyon area. Fun old route 66 town on I-40 60 miles south of Grand Canyon. We stay at Grand Canyon Railroad RV park which is a nice resort style RV park. If you prefer more of a wooded campground style park then Circle Pines KOA east of Williams is very nice. - Bob___AnnExplorerThere is not much in Flagstaff except for J&H. J&H is very nice but will not be opening until April 28 this year at the earliest. They normally open May 1. Our back up plan is Greer's Pine Shadow which is a far #2.
