Florence to Astoria, OR

Is there any boondocking places in the above area with a fiver?

Have searched online some of the logging roads. Are these places relatively easy to get to (dispersed camping)? Any problems?

Thank you.
  • No.......and there is a law in Oregon about boondocking at rest areas, pull-offs etc. on 101. The logging roads are rough as mockturtle said. I've lived here all my life and haven't found any boondocking areas near 101.....:) so I'll mark this to keep an eye out. :)
  • FWIW, the only time I had to take a logging road along the OR coast was when a mudslide closed 101. The logging road was the 'detour' and I was very glad I was driving a 4X4 pickup truck and not my RV!
