Florida -Fort Pierce

Question

Looking for recommendations on  snowbird type parks in the Ft Pierce area (1 hour south ok.) I have been to St Augustine, Clermont (Orlando), and currently in Okeechobee. I am looking for a park from which I can bike (2-3 miles) to the beach and stores, shops, restaurants etc. This trip is a sampler platter, it’ll be a few years before I turn into a snowbird, After Ft Pierce I am heading over to Wachula to look at the Escapee park there and also 3 Encore parks I gained access to on my Thousand Trails zone pass via the new “Trails Collection.”

We stayed 2 weeks at Road Runner in Ft Pierce last February - very nice park but a little bit west of the inter-coastal

We also stayed 2 weeks right on the inter coastal at Camelot RV park in Malabar
I would take a hard look at it

Camelot Park in Malabar is very nice.  The ever-changing scene of the river is beautiful.

When you are in Wachula be sure to stop by the Pioneer Resturant for some great country cooking, nothing fancy but just good food.

Check out Ocean Resorts in Ft. Pierce at 5101 N A1A.

You can ride to shopping but not the beach as this resort is
on the beach.

You can easily Google their website which contains links to
their photos and rental sites.
