If your Sun Pass is linked to your MH it's going to be a lot more than $10. If it is linked to a car you might get away with $10.
A 2 axle MH is the same rate as a car with the Sun Pass. If you're towing anything, that's where they really get you. One additional axle being towed by anything doubles the rate, while 2 axles triples the rate. :E
Yea, a few years ago I thought I would out smart them and I put a sunpass in my toad too figuring that I would get charged once on the RV and once on the toad saving a third. WRONG , I was charged 3X on the RV and once on the toad. I called and argued but they would only take the toad charge off. Doesn't seem fair! - Mich_FExplorer

- jgoldenExplorerThanks to all who replied. I have the answer I was looking for.
- bobsinnExplorerToll from Ft Pierce to Fla City (US-1) with sun pass is $10.35 for 2 axles.
I always use the Jupiter exit to change from tpk to I 95 Its more convenient than Ft Pierce and costs less $8.03 - NCWriterExplorer

Sun pass is 25 percent less expensive than toll by plate plus the $5 monthly service fee.
Just to clarify, there's no monthly service fee if you have a Sunpass transponder linked with a credit card. Another benefit is use of the cruise-thru Sunpass-only lane, of course, when the other lanes are backed up.
Before we moved to Florida, we simply went through the Toll by Plate which, for one shot, was full cost plus a $2.50 fee to mail us a statement a few weeks later. The main downside was concern we would be away on a planned long trip when the mailed statement finally came. - Sam_SpadeExplorer

Just to be clear, the monthly fee is for toll by plate.
There is NOT a monthly fee for Sunpass. - AllworthExplorer IIMy Sun Pass/E-Pass is tied to a credit card and I don't have to worry about it. They e-mail a monthly statement. (I have 4 vehicles on my account.)
- IvylogExplorer IIII would stay on I-95 until Deerfield Beach/810 and then get on the turnpike. Traffic on I-95 through Palm Beach county moves better than the turnpike BUT not in Broward/Dade counties. From there it's probably $15 each way.

Why not just let them send you a bill? Toll by plate. What's the advantage of paying in advance?
A slight discount.
But there is a small start-up fee for the card too.
If this is likely to be a one-time-only use, it probaby isn't worth the trouble.
