Did anybody mention St. Joseph Peninsula State Park? CG is beside a gorgeous white Gulf beach.
Hi,
We stayed at St Joseph PSP in February. It was our first time in the panhandle. The park is beautiful and quiet. The beach is beautiful. We loved it there and cant wait to go back. I love the Florida state parks. They are some of the best parks we have stayed at in our travels around the country since 2007. - tnrv_erExplorer IIThank-you for all the replys!! Grayton and Henderson are on the list. Nice to hear folks recommend them.
We will check out some of the other mentioned also.....thanks again!! - GGeorgeExplorerI know where NOT to stay. Drive thru Mexico Beach!!!!!!
- jplante4Explorer IIHo Hum and Topsail Hill were great. You just can't get a better sunrise than HoHum.
Be aware that they are rebuilding sites at Topsail and the construction noise will detract from the experience. Tram to a beautiful beach. - scrubjaysnestExplorer

- Pine_BarrenExplorerGrayton Beach, Big Lagoon, Rocky Bayou, Fla Caverns, Henderson Beach. To name a few in October any of the state parks are very nice.
- Mr__CamperExplorerHo Hum was my #1 for many years but they have overpriced themselves out ofour plans. Now I'd stay in Milton at Avalon Landing.

Topsail Hill for the win. You may be able to get a spot for October. Keep in mind that it is still hurricane season in October.
