You may have never saw one, but believe me, they are there. - BarneySExplorer III
Barney - GoPackGoExplorerOwning a small dog is a real good way to meet alligators.
- tccazExplorerBeen in Florida most of my life never had a problem with a gator. I guess you will not do anything outside the park because gators are in most bodies of water including lakes, ponds, rivers, canals. They are also on nearly every golf course and most anywhere you may go, if you are that afraid of them you may not want to come to Florida.
- sdianel_-acct_cExplorerTry Williston Crossings, Williston FL. There is a lake in the new area, but you can request a site far away from it. If you have a dog, keep them on leash and away from the water.

Did you go across the street and hike next to the lake itself?
These guys operate out of that lake. clicky - NolanExplorerhttp://www.bettertimesrv.com/ Spent three months at this park in the winter of 2008. Never saw a gator. Hiked and geocached in the area and never saw a gator.

- JW_of_Opechee_SExplorerGo to RV Park Reviews and pick one that has what you want and the type of reviews you expect. They all have Ants, Snakes, and Gators like others have stated but where we are only ants. Have fun forget about the small stuff.
