Heading out in August to see the country and watch the meteor showers. Where do you like to stay in that area? Planning on visiting Marfa and Alpine also.

When you go to the observatory plan on staying from 9am to 1am. Take the MH so you can have food and a nap between the activities. Worth the trip.
