I live less than 10 miles from Ft. Pickens and I can tell you we have had amazing amounts of rain this summer. I can't recall the last time we were this wet for such an extended period. I've seen standing water in places on this island where I've never seen it the 23 years I've lived here.
Sure hope they're able to re-open soon. It's such a nice place to go and relax.
