A number of interesting forts in Washington and Oregon..
Ft Worden and Ft. Stevens are a couple of them. Both heavy gun emplacements - bunkers that guarded the Strait of Juan de Fuca and the mouth of the Columbia River.
Good state parks and camping at both.
