Fortuna Pond, Yuma

so, the last 2 days there has been the constant sounds of tractors out in the fields next to us harvesting.

Not something I am particularly fond of: noise.

it went on all.night.long.

can't really complain, I'm the one that moved next to a farm field lol

well, I heard that there were generators, and till 2 days ago hadn't heard them. There was a guy the last two days running one constantly and till last night way past 10 pm.

they just left. YAHOOO!!!!!!!

It is east of town near where hwy 95 turns north. Here is a map

we went to see it yesterday, and there is POSSIBLY one area we could have fit. We just didn't want to chance it till we see it again. Not totally full, maybe people are in Quartzsite for the RV show :D


it's out road 7E off of 95. Its a ways back on the gravel road...kinda bumpy really.

I camped there and saw a lot of big rigs. You'll just want to make sure that it's not full before you drive in. Here's a photo of it.
