- prichardsonExplorerI have stayed a Lady Bird Johnson Municipal Park Campground several times. Part of the municipal park complex with access to trails, pool and golf course. Nice and well maintained.
- BB_TXNomadThe Fredericksburg RV Park is the most convenient to downtown. And it gets good reviews. Many people say they like the KOA about 3 miles or so east of town, and it also gets good reviews. There is a Jellystone RV park a little farther east and is relatively new. Lady Bird park also gets good reviews and is also convenient to downtown. Lots of choices. Check campgroundreviews.com and look at each, read the reviews, look on google maps for location, and pick one.

Lady bird Park
and the Koa
are your best ones.
The Jellystone is too far east of town.
We like the Fredericksburg rv Park.
Have stayed here many times. - IDmanExplorerI am not a fan of KOAs BUT the one in Fredericksbury is very nice. We have had sites in the back of CG with large trees, big sites, quiet, and private. Nice management also.
- padredwNomadI agree completely with IDman. The KOA in Fredericksburg is our first choice--in the back of the park down in the trees. He said it first; he said it right; I just agree.
- one_strange_texExplorerI agree with several other posters. We prefer the KOA. It is well run and near Luckenbach, if that means anything. The Jellystone Park is further out of town, as others have said, but is more centrally located for the wineries as well as nearer the LBJ State/National historic site. It depends on what you are looking for and what you are going to be doing in Fredericksburg. Make your reservations early, if possible, especially in the "snow bird" months.
