Free Campground in Cincinnati for FMCA members

Just want to add something about FMCA having a 15 site campground at FMCA Mail Forwarding facility in Cincinnati, Ohio. We availed ourselves of this campground on Saturday evening, May 25th when nothing else was available with hookups. There were only about 8 MH's here that night. This site was suggested by another FMCA member when he read we were headed for Cincinnati for an overnight stay. The link to this site (it is somewhat hard to find on the FMCA main website). For those that have not used this "Camp Ground", in one night our entire FMCA membership fee was fulfilled.

THANK YOU FMCA!
  • Thank you Medico! We bookmarked the link for future reference. Didn't know that this facility was available to FMCA members.
  • We have stayed at FMCA numerous times. It is recommended to call ahead to make sure space will be available. Sometimes they have directors meetings or whatever and you may be out of luck. They are located about 3 miles off the east by-pass around Cinci.

They do not have pull through sites so it is necessary to unhook your towed and back in.
  • Not easy to find on a map since its for FMCA members and at their headquarters, so it usually doesn't show up on maps. Take exit 63 W off of I-275 onto St. Rt. 32W about 5 miles to Right on Round Bottom Rd. 1/2 mile on the right side.
Valley Ave, across the street, has a nice restaurant (the Iron Skillet) about 500 yds away named the Iron skillet, and a nine hole golf course just past the traffic light.
I don't know how "Round Bottom Rd." got its name. :)
  • An easy landmark for the Round Bottom Rd. turn - the large fountain in the middle of the intersection. Go over the train tracks and FMCA is just beyond that - on the right - look for the "goose egg" sign.
