Fuel station on Outer Banks, NC

Drop the trailer at the KOA and drive back to North Beach Campground. They have a general store and fuel station. I found them cheaper for diesel. Was on the island all last summer.

Yes, plenty of places to fuel up. I was actually a bit surprised.

Liberty Station in Rodanthe area you will be fine...i do it all the time there.

There is a Liberty fuel station about a mile and a half from that KOA. The fuel islands parallel the road and are perfect for RVs. If you want to check it out on google maps, it's called Island Ice Cream and Smoothies.

Generally, you want to stay clear of heavily-populated areas if possible.

I looked at google maps and some don't look to trailer friendly. And I Don't plan to come back up from Hatteras til I leave.

Google maps. Find some, then street view/satellite. Really helps. You don't have to drag the rig around looking.

Plenty of spots in Kitty Hawk. You shouldn't have a problem.

We are staying at KOA in Rodanthe. Was hopping to top off in Nags Head on way down.

Where are you going on the OBX...Plenty of room at the EXXON just before Wright bridge...
