We were in Galveston last January and the weather was cold and rainy but we did NOT find garbage. A nice RV campground is Dellanera RV Park. We then went to San Antonio and enjoyed our stay there at the very end of January and found it a very nice area as well. We enjoyed Travelers World Rv Resort as a good spot for sight seeing in the city. We would like to go back to Galveston when it is a little warmer next time.
