for all of you disbelievers periodically they direct a vehicle over to the "extra scrutiny" lane, sometimes you have to get out, they may ask you to open your trunk, etc. I'm surprised that you Texans don't know about that.
It happened to me this summer, pickup ahead of us in lane had two 25/30 ish males in it and they had them get out. our car driven by my daughter was less intensive, we didn't get out, just checked her drivers license IIRC. I don't think they even made her open her trunk?
yes, there is such a lane, don't recall the name that the attendant used however, perhaps DAP?
