All campgrounds in the Pigeon Forge/ G'burg area are fine. Take your pick. Gatlinburg is busy as ever so bring your patience for the traffic. Its slow going on the main road to go anywhere. Consider campgrounds east of G'burg on 321 for getting out of the noise for some dark and quiet nights. If you want closer to the busy and activities stay up towards Pigeon Forge. All the ones I have seen are not that busy so getting in should not be a problem. Nights have been getting down into the upper 20's and daytime temps have been mid 40's to mid 50's so come prepared.
