general safety in Ft. Meyers Fl area
We are going to spend three months in Ft Meyers area this winter, and are wondering if area is for most part ok as far as safety goes, being out at night ect, certain areas to avoid?

We stayed in Fort Meyers Beach this past April. Initially spent a week. Liked it enough to spend a second week. I would be more concerned about being able to breath the hot humid air than crime.
