Would like to know about generator use in national parks, as many don't have electrical hookups. Thank you for any info, Dave

Different parks have different rules for the hours that generators can be used. You can go to nps.gov and look up the particular park you are interested in, and then download the brochure for the particular campground, which will list the allowable generator hours.
