generator use
Would like to know about generator use in national parks, as many don't have electrical hookups. Thank you for any info, Dave

It seems like most parks are on a 8AM to 8PM generators hours schedule. That may vary by park. And over officious CG hosts may try to impose their own limits. We had that happen at Lassen Volcanic last year. Our fridge stopped working on propane for some mysterious reason (it healed itself eventually). And so I wanted to run the generator for several hours morning and evening to try to keep it cool. The CG host came over and complained even tho I was well within the posted hours. Turns out some woman in a site well away from mine didn't want to hear any generators at any time. I tried to reason with her to no avail and she eventually swapped sites with another one farther away.
