No the COE lakes are not up in the mountains. Lakes Nottely & Chatuge are TVA lakes. Tallulah Falls Lake, Tugalo Lake, Lake Burton, Lake Yonah, Lake Seed and Lake Rabun are
Georgia Power lakes. TVA never did build campgrounds as nice as the COE, very few had electric. And most have been closed, or privatized. GA Power does have a few nice campgrounds, but on their lakes in east, central and west Georgia
