This calls to mind an experience we had several years ago at Stone Mountain. I was struggling to level up our fifth-wheel with as many blocks as I had--and about to give up--when a fellow pulled up in one of the campground "golf carts."
"Listen," he said, "we can do better than that." and he gave me a slip of paper with several site numbers jotted down. "Now, go back up to the office when you have selected the one you want and tell them I said to change you to that site." Turns out he was the park manager! What a nice guy, and what a pleasant memory.
But. . .I never thought of Stone Mountain as being in the "mountains of Georgia." We have stayed there many times over the years as we had friends living between there and downtown Atlanta, and would go back if we wanted to visit Atlanta.
