Exactly. Before I was retired, I took the extra day, sometimes two. It was a part of my annual leave and worked out great. If I took my vacation time all at once, I always scheduled my vacation to start on a Tuesday so that I would arrive at a cg on a Wednesday and had my pick of the camp sites. Creative scheduling and personal leave can work out quite well.
