Vogel is a place that you really don't need to take 35' plus trailers into. Yes it's done all the time, but as washley1 found out they don’t all take 40’ trailers. Or maybe I should say yes a 40’ unit would fit on the site, but good luck backing it in. Last time at Vogel we had a 28 foot 5’th wheel and a regular cab truck. I still had to fold in the mirror to pass a tree. It’s just not worth the effort or risk to truck and trailer to go back.
And Vogel isn’t the only one. Fort Mountain State Park the can leave a person with even a popup saying what were they thinking.
