Glacier National Park in July

We stayed in West Glacier at San Suz Ed. We were happy with it, but was a little tight in our spot. We spent all out time in the park. You can rent an inexpensive motor boat and go out Lake Mcdonald. Going to the Sun Road may be open, but it had a mudslide two days after we got there and was closed for the rest of the trip. East Glacier was beautiful and we could have spent more time there, but were staying on west side. My kids were entertained by the hiking, fishing and just hanging out at the lakes and lodges but they are not quite teenagers. Only mistake was we followed the signs and headed out to Polebridge on the Northwest side, but felt like we wasted our time when we got there.
