Heading to Glacier National Park the first couple weeks of August. Looking for campground recommendations around East or West Glacier. Traveling with 4 adults looking for full hook-ups! Thanks...

In regards to paying a premium to stay at the west KOA over many very nice parks I ask this question - are you going to Glacier to play in pools, etc, or are you there to see Glacier? Very many nice ones to choose from and some much closer to the Park.
Kalispell and Whitefish are much further away from the Park yet.
It doesn't get much closer to the park than the West Glacier KOA. Took us about 5 minutes to get to the entrance from the KOA. And actually, having the pool and hot tub for some relaxation after a long day of hiking in the park was really quite nice.
