The "global warming" is in the areas of the world that are normally cold, such as the poles. Thus, melting ice raising the sea levels.
While the poles are warming the temperate zones are cooling. Thus the polar vortex we hear often mentioned.
Bottom line is major weather changes for our planet, mostly caused by man.
