I'm curious...why would you choose to believe these 2, and not the other thousands who say there's no question about it? Sounds like denial to me.

This kind of thinking has been going on for decades.

Remember auto emissions, the hydrocarbons, then tetraethylead, then seatbelts, smoking.. etc etc. There have always been deniers (including the heads of tobacco companies) even in court. Denial is always present, even when irrefutable evidence is right in front of your face.
