Good SnowBird Area ---- Florida

Due to grandkids in Florida, we may be going there a month or so in the winter instead of the Rio Grande Valley. My wife really likes all the craft shows in the Valley; talking with the little old ladies (kind of like her) who make hand crafted cards, knit their own pot holders or scrubbies, make the old embroidered dish towels, etc. Is there any area like that in Florida?

I think most parks in FL will have exactly what you're looking for. As mentioned check the area out near the grandkids and check out the parks in that area. Good Luck.

Florida is a big state. Can you narrow it down? East, west?
South, central, north?

I've been in a few 55+ mobile home/RV parks in FL. Seems like in the winter, any of them would fit the bill for crafts. Find a place close to your grandkids and call to make sure.

Double your cost and halve your amenities and you will enjoy Florida... From a 30+ year resident that will NOT winter there.
