Thank you for the response. I was able to add the digital card to my Wallet so thanks for that. I also noticed that the Membership card can be generated from the account page on the web site ... but not the other Roadside or Travel. Too bad all of these service don't show up on ONE membership card like AAA. I also liked that the web site allows you to create an either a Roadside or Travel card with your spouse's name on it for print, but you can't generate digital cards for the digital wallet. The nice thing about having the card in the digital Wallet is that puts the phone number and membership number where I can easily find it. It was also nice to hear that you pretty much got rid of the multitude of apps and moved everything to the Travel app ... except ability to initiate roadside assistance. It's pretty clear everything still operates as totally separate entities.
It would be nice if you could initiate Roadside assistance with the app. There are times where phone coverage is pretty week, but apps and text messaging still works. In addition, initiating with the app could be done where everything typically requested at the initiation of an event could be provided to the representative to include location if location service is turned. Now add to that T-mobile is experimenting with text messaging being supported via StarLink and that pretty much rounds out the ability to get assistance wherever you break down.
One last item. I do have an issue with the Travel app. I use Apple Passwords to manage my Passwords and generate more secure passwords. When I log into the Travel app, the user-email and password doesn't autofill like it does for the Perks app. As a matter of fact there isn't a direct way to get the user-email to easily get to Passwords. At least once you get to where it is wanting you to enter the password it shows Password above the keyboard where you can click on it. I was initially having a problem where I kept getting Invalid UserID/Password so I clicked on Forgot Password and did a reset ... but when I would go to Password to get the new password the site I was on did not pop up at the top of the list like it does for most apps so I did a search for Good Sam found an entry, entered that and still got Invalid UserID/Password. Tried a few times and even called support, but got cut off so clicked Forgot Password again. After I reset the password and saved it, I noticed a brief popup that said saved to "customersso.rvs.com" but all I really caught was "rvs" before it disappeared. But when attempted logging back in again, instead of searching for Good Sam, I searched for RVS and found an entry, used password for that entry, and it worked. This is not a issue at all for the browser app.
So in summary, I feel there has been great improvement, I would like to see these improvements:
- Get to one membership card and number.
- Ability to generate digital membership card online for self or with family member name.
- One app for roadside, perks, & travel. If I had insurance through Good Sam, it would include ability to link to insurance policy as well.
- Smooth integration with password manager with App.
Looking forward to more improvements and thanks again for help.
