- JimBollmanExplorerWe keep CoPilot as a backup since the maps are local to the smart thing and doesn't require a cell signal to use. First we use dedicated Garmin. For a quick look Apple Maps or Google Maps if we have cell service.

Yes , you can create profiles for your vehicles including your rv height, weight, propane restrictions and a your choice of routes and things to avoid . Also as mentioned above the maps are stored on your device so service is not an issue. - Quint_Da_ManExplorerThanks everyone for your input.
