Got our Yosemite campsites - suggestions welcome!

On May 15th at 7 AM Pacific time my wife and I were ready with six sites loaded in two computers for reservations. When the clock moved to the top of the hour, we scored our first choice for two camp...

Our "base" ( home) is 30 miles from the main entrance to Yosemite.
I am a Park Steward in the park.

1) Drive down to the Valley Floor, go into The Ahwahnee Hotel have an adult beverage or luncheon on the patio.

2) Take the Park Bus, not the paid one, and it will take you around the entire park. You can then make your decision of what locations you wish to see.

3) The Wawona Hotel, is across from the golf course, set on their patio
and watch the deer walk right by you.
