- bshpilotExplorerthat 800 number is not directly connected to the park - its a reservation/agent number - they know only whats written on their paper.
FWIW - they also require jack pads, neither of which are a problem.
it would take A LOT of windex to clean 42 feet of coach & jeep - not to mention WINDEX is not good for painted surfaces - bshpilotExplorerduplicate post

RE: RV washing...why not just call the park.
there is no (listed) direct number & the reservation agent/service didnt know.....and its not listed (as prohibited) on their web pages....SO THAT IS WHY I'M HERE.
Ive even talked to friends that stayed there & they don't remember...SO THATS WHY IM HERE.
the same thing occurred to us at Trailer Village - no one knew....and when we pulled up their rules (listed in the office) prohibit washing of vehicles.

I doubt they allow RV washing. This is the only park in which I've stayed that required the stinky slinky to elevate your sewer hose, even though it is over rocks.
You can always do it the way I do: spot clean with Windex. Never had a problem. - AprilWhineExplorerTheir RV park is Passport America, 50% discount except in summer.

- AllworthExplorer IIIf the kids have no experience riding a train, it is neat. Once.
Much better train tours are available at Durango (Durango and Silverton) or at Chama (Combres and Toltec), both of which are National Historic Sites and National Engineering Landmarks.
((Also Skagway, Alaska, on the White Pass and Yukon, but that may be a little out of your way.)) - bshpilotExplorerDoes anyone know if the GCRW RV Park permits RV washing ??
- RamblinManGAExplorerHi from AZ. . . We did a package deal & thoroughly enjoyed it. Parked the tt at the campground, parked the inlaws in the hotel, ate several meals on the property. We went up one morning, overnighted at a lodge in the park & had all afternoon & the next day till 2:30 to 'do' the South Rim. They did a good job with making it all work. Stayed an extra day to explore Williams & it's Route 66 kitsch, good time ! regards, Craig

Are there ever discounts, coupons, promo codes, for the train? Man, it's pretty expensive!
Having rode in the dome car in both directions, I found it worth every penny I paid.
