Take Hwy 140 out to Mt McLoughlin, Fourmile Lake, Lake of the Woods.
On the way to Crater Lake stop off at North Fork Rogue River from Mill Creek Drive. Short trail with some awesome waterfalls and the mighty gushing Rogue River.

I think it's just a typo.

Rogue River=Hellgate jet boats.
Snake River=Hells Canyon jet boats.

Thanks everyone, I will check them out. Crater Lake and Jet boat ride already on the list. We will be in the area end of May first of June.

As suggested earlier, The Oregon Vortex is a must see. Trust me- it's not as cheesy as it sounds.

Also, and of course depending on the weather: if you like rafting there are some pretty easy single-day Rogue River floats available from various rental outfits down there. Here's a link to one such place.

Poke around the back roads...there are so classic covered bridges to be found and photographed....
