Grayton Beach State Park area

Will be staying a few noghts at topsail hill preserve and then a few nights at Grayton beach state park. Can anyone recommend some good restaurants in the sea grove beach area?
  • On 30A two miles south of US98 (about a mile and a half past the entrance to Topsail) is Stinky's Fish Camp. Excellent!

On 98 in Miramar Beach is Jordano's Pizza. By far the best in this area.
  • Not necessarily a restaurant, but a great food/eating experience unto itself. It seems to me that just east of the main courtyard (past the port office, central square) there is/was a GREAT deli on the land side of the highway, not the gulf side. Somewhere around goatfeathers east. It's name escapes me and is driving me crazy at this point, but they have all sorts of great deli & seafood.
The smoked fish spread was very good as were the smoked pork chops. But the ultimate item was the smoked shrimp. To die for!!!
Almost worth the trip from St. Louis for the shrimp alone.
