Gros Veture Campground (or others) Grand Tetons NP

Planning on staying at Gros Venture mid June. I understand it is a first come first serve place with no reservations accepted. Anyone have any advice for getting a site like what time of day to arrive...

Well I'm going to skip Grand Tetons. Was hoping to go there mid June but there aren't any spots to be found. Should have figured this out earlier. I'll start heading back from Yellowstone. Thanks very much to those who replied.
