Grove KY Campground - Looking for Route Info

Question

We have reserved a spot at Grove KY near Laurel Lake in the Daniel Boone National Forest. Can anyone who is familiar with the area provide any info? We will be coming from Natural Tunnel which is in the southern tip of Va. I understand that Hwy 58 to Hwy 25E to the park can be challenging. Is it better to just take the longer route using I-81/40 to I-75?

South on I-75 to exit 25, US 25W. Right on 25(Cumberland Falls Road) to Ky 1193 (Bee Creek Road). Right on Bee Creek RD to Grove Road. Right on Grove Rd to the campground and marina.

While there, I hope that you are planing of visiting Cumberland Falls. Eat Sunday dinner at the State Park Lodge.

So the question is: are there any grade or other issues along the suggested route? Or should I take the interstate loop further south?
